How to Book Your Passport Appointment Online

Obtain an ICAO Digital Photo Reference Number:
Visit a studio authorized by the Department of Immigration and Emigration. After taking your photo, obtain the printed Photo Reference Number (Acknowledgement Note).

Go to
immigration.gov.lkand select “Online Passport Appointment Booking”. -
Fill in Required Information:
Input your National Identity Card (NIC) number, active mobile phone number, and the ICAO Photo Reference Number provided by the studio.

Select Service Branch & Appointment Slot:
Choose your preferred location (Battaramulla, Kandy, Matara, Vavuniya, or Batticaloa) and pick an available date and time slot.

Download & Print Confirmation:
Once submitted, download the generated PDF Confirmation Slip and print it out to present on your appointment day.
