Prerequisites for Fuel Pass QR Registration
Before starting the online registration process, make sure you have the following information and documents ready:

National Identity Card (NIC), Passport Number, or Business Registration Number (BRN)

Vehicle Registration Number (as listed on your revenue license)

Steps to Register for Fuel Pass QR Code Online

Open your web browser and visit the official website: fuelpass.gov.lk

Click on the Register button on the homepage.

Enter your NIC Number and your active Mobile Number.

Enter the One-Time Password (OTP) sent to your mobile device to verify your identity.

On the next screen, select your Vehicle Type, and input your Vehicle Number and Chassis Number correctly.

Review all details carefully and click Submit. Your unique Fuel Pass QR Code will be generated on the screen.
How to Use Your Fuel QR Code at Fuel Stations

Save the QR Code: Download or take a clear screenshot of the QR Code displayed on your screen and save it on your mobile phone.

Scanning at Station: Present the saved QR Code to the pump attendant at any authorized fuel station for visual scanning before refueling.

Weekly Quota: Once your allocated weekly fuel limit (in liters) is exhausted, the quota will automatically refresh in the next weekly cycle.
Registration for Corporate and Commercial Vehicles
If you manage multiple vehicles under a registered business or organization, individual personal registration cannot be used:

Corporate entities must register under the Corporate Fuel Pass category using their Business Registration Number (BRN) or government department registration number.

The corporate portal allows businesses to register and manage multiple vehicles under a single organizational account.
