Requirements Before You Begin
Make sure you have the following details ready before checking your balance online:

National Identity Card (NIC): Old or new NIC number.

EPF Member Number: Found on your monthly pay slip.

Employer Registration Code: The unique EPF registration number of your company.
1. How to Check EPF Balance Online (CBSL Portal)
The Central Bank of Sri Lanka (CBSL) manages the EPF e-Services portal to provide members with instant access to their account details.
Step 1: Visit the official EPF website at www.epf.lk.
Step 2: Click on “e-Services” or “Member Balance Inquiry” on the homepage.
Step 3: First-time users must register by clicking “Register / Create Account” and entering their NIC number, mobile number, and EPF member number.
Step 4: Once registered, log in using your credentials (Username and Password).
Step 5: Your total EPF balance—including both employer and employee contributions along with annual interest—will be displayed on the screen.
2. How to Check ETF Balance Online
You can verify your ETF savings directly through the official Employees’ Trust Fund Board portal.
Step 1: Go to the official ETF Board website at www.etfb.lk.
Step 2: Navigate to “Member Services” and select “Check ETF Balance”.
Step 3: Enter your NIC Number and ETF Member Number.
Step 4: Enter the security captcha code shown on the screen and click Submit. Your current ETF balance will appear instantly.
