Under Section 11 of the Welfare Benefits Act No. 24 of 2002, the Welfare Benefits Board (WBB) has officially published the second beneficiary list for Aswesuma Phase II. The department is now accepting public appeals and objections regarding eligible and ineligible applicants.
Who Can Submit Appeals & Objections?

Appeals: Families or individuals whose names were excluded from the second list, or those who are dissatisfied with their assigned category.

Objections: Members of the public who want to report individuals or families who are ineligible but have been included in the beneficiary list.

Downloadable Forms: Download the application form from the main website
www.wbb.gov.lk. -
Divisional Secretariat / Grama Niladhari: Obtain a physical application form from your Grama Niladhari or local Aswesuma officer, complete it, and hand it over to the Divisional Secretariat office.

Communication Centers: Submit electronically through authorized local communication or computer centers.

Only one appeal per applicant is permitted.

Objections can be submitted anonymously without revealing personal details.

An active, correct mobile phone number is required to register the appeal in the system. If your registered mobile number has changed, visit your Divisional Secretariat to update it.
